Brand Marketing Manager: Full Time, Los Angeles

MARA is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for executing, managing and overseeing MARA brand marketing across our various channels, including ecomm, retail marketing, social media and digital marketing. The right candidate will be creative, think outside the box, detail-oriented and results driven and has a robust understanding of 360 marketing, storytelling, and is able to develop and execute creatives inline with the MARA brand story while recommending strategies to position brand for growth. Candidates should also be analytical and data-driven decision makers and able to understand consumer behavior and market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a deep understanding and passion of the MARA brand and skincare
  • Manage cohesion between all brand marketing verticals to ensure seamless brand story and strategy across verticals
  • Establish and maintain brand marketing budgets 
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote a company's brand, increase brand awareness, and drive sales
  • Conduct market research to stay up to date with customer trends and predict future trends
  • Set KPIs for campaigns and analyze the success of marketing campaigns and create reports
  • Oversee new campaigns (digital and OOH) and help teams execute everything from graphic overlays to email copy
  • Coordinate eventing at retail partners to incentivize sales
  • Manage retail forecasts, open-to-buy and sales goals with all MARA retail partners; Build out reporting to track sales by SKU
  • Lead the creative development team in the right direction which aligns with the brand ethos 
  • Analyze daily, weekly and monthly sales; manage sales goals, retail sell-thru and forecasts

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Marketing or Brand Marketing
  • Must have deep understanding of skincare space, social media, and up-to-date on trends. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, creative skills, project management skills, and ability to use data to create sales strategies and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work full-time in person in Los Angeles.

Product Development & Operations Coordinator: Full Time, Los Angeles

MARA is looking for an outstanding Product Developer & Operations Coordinator to join our LA team. This role is responsible for coordinating New Product Development Operations with day-to-day processes, business management, supply chain and administrative support. The right candidate will be extremely detail oriented, has experience with product development, supply chain and project management, and is results-driven and solution-oriented. This is an amazing opportunity to work directly with our Founder on product formulation, development and operations at a fast-growing, global skincare brand. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO in day-to-day management and coordination and of business operational activities
  • Coordinate Operations, NPD and Production calendars. 
  • Support new product develop to ensure deadlines and launch dates are met. 
  • Manage supply chain, raw materials and components deliverables with external vendors.
  • Work directly with 3PL, major retailers and DCs to facilitate smooth inventory flow.
  • Work with MARA 3rd party opps team on weekly and monthly goals. 
  • Help identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements can be made in business operations and procedures
  • Analyze sales, inventory, and ecommerce data on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and prepare thoughtful recommendations that can be discussed and implemented cross-departmentally to immediately impact the business.
  • Provide high-level analysis, business reports, and qualitative and actionable feedback and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Drive process improvements, standardizations, and best practices aligned to accommodate complexities of the business ensuring consistency in tools, reporting, and communications
  • Monitor discount code usage, oversee our relationships with vendors such as fraud prevention services, and respond to all chargebacks
  • Assist Founder with Inventory management
  • Act as the point-person to represent Operations team at all necessary events and activations

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience preferred
  • Able to work full-time in person at our Hollywood office.
  • Must have previous experience with NetSuite. 
  • Experience building or managing an Open To Buy.
  • A deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions.
  • Able to meet deadlines, prioritize appropriately, cope well with change, and maintain composure under pressure

Retail & Sales Manager: Full Time, Los Angeles

MARA is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing MARA sales across our various distribution channels, including DTC. The right candidate will be detail-oriented and results driven and has a robust understanding of sales strategy, forecasting and managing open-to-buy planning. 

Responsibilities:

  • Have a deep understanding and passion of the MARA brand and skincare
  • Develop, hire and train retail sales support team members; manage said field support team and book monthly sales support visits
  • Coordinate eventing at retail partners to incentivize sales
  • Manage retail forecasts, open-to-buy and sales goals with all MARA retail partners; Build out reporting to track sales by SKU
  • Develop ESV & In-Store Eventing strategy, supported by training gratis, training videos and education. 
  • Analyze daily, weekly and monthly sales; manage sales goals, retail sell-thru and forecasts
  • Work directly with Marketing to maintain knowledge of new products and launches 
  • Prepare new product line sheets for retailers for all new product launches and work with E-Comm team to provide approved assets. 
  • Oversee preparation of displays, merchandise, and product presentations.
  • Oversee pricing, planning and inventory management with Ops team. 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Retail Marketing at omni-channel consumer product goods company
  • Must have basic understanding of ERP systems; NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, project management skills, and ability to use data to create sales strategies and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work full-time in person in Los Angeles with travel as needed to train and educate MARA retailers on brand and product launches.
