Is everything natural?
We’ve sourced the finest, clean ingredients and are committed to using as many natural ingredients as possible. At MARA, we also believe in science and use the best possible ingredients to give you clean, non-toxic formulas and amazing results. We like to remind our customers that natural doesn’t always mean it’s good for you and science doesn’t always equal bad.
What is the shelf life of your products?
If stored properly, our products have a shelf life of one year. Since our products are clean, they must be stored in a cool, dry place and kept out of direct sunlight.
When is the best time to apply the facial oil? Can I wear makeup over facial oil?
Anytime! It’s best to use our Algae + Moringa Universal Face Oil like you would use any moisturizer. Apply after washing your face in the morning or night. Our Universal Face Oil is meant to be used in place of a cream moisturizer or in tandem with, so apply liberally! You can also apply it midday for added glow, or mix it in with your makeup for a beautiful, radiant finish.
Are your products vegan and cruelty free?
Yes, Algae + Moringa® Universal Face Oil, Evening Primrose + Green Tea® Algae Retinol Oil, and Chia + Moringa® Algae Enzyme Cleansing Oil are vegan and all MARA products are cruelty-free.
Do you have a list of no no ingredients?

How soon can I expect my order?
For our complimentary ground shipping for continental US orders, please allow up to one week for your order to ship from our warehouse and another week for your order to arrive. If you can’t wait that long, we offer UPS and Overnight options priced by zipcode and weight.
For International Orders: Please allow up to four weeks for your order to arrive after shipping. Usually it will arrive sooner, but customs departments do have the right to hold items and there is not much we can do about this. Also, we do not pay for anything to be released from customs to you.
Are your products made in the U.S.?
Yes, all of our products are made in Los Angeles from globally sourced ingredients.
Shipping / Orders
Items ordered and paid for will ship after 2–5 business days, unless otherwise noted in description of product. We primarily ship through USPS. You will receive an email notification from us that contains tracking information once your order has been shipped.
If Customs charges occur please note that the buyer (you) is 100% responsible for the fees. MARA is not responsible for customs charges. Please note that International orders can take up to 4 weeks to arrive after they are shipped since all orders must pass through customs.
Order and Shipping Issues
If you have any problems with your order, please contact us so that we can make it right email@example.com. We want to make sure you’re happy and will try our hardest to resolve any issues.
MARA is not responsible for shipments shown as “delivered” in the tracking info. However, we will do our best to help you locate your package. If your building is not secure, we suggest requesting a required signature for delivery. Please contact our Support team to arrange as we do not include this cost or service with shipping.
Refunds / Exchanges
MARA will gladly accept returns on unopened / unused orders placed within 30 days. All items purchased with a promo code are final sale.
If a product arrives broken or damaged, we are happy to send a replacement. However a photograph as proof of the damage/defect is required.
Your satisfaction is our top priority and we will do what we can to ensure your happiness with every purchase. Please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org at anytime if you are unhappy with your order.
For international orders, if your package is unclaimed and is returned back to us, we may refund the amount of the products but the shipping cost will not be refunded.
MARA is not responsible for any additional shipping costs for returns + exchanges, and we do not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to MARA.
