Is everything natural?

We’ve sourced the finest, clean ingredients and are committed to using as many natural ingredients as possible.  At MARA, we also believe in science and use the best possible ingredients to give you clean, non-toxic formulas and amazing results. We like to remind our customers that natural doesn’t always mean it’s good for you and science doesn’t always equal bad. 

Product Color and Scent

Because we use a majority natural ingredients, product color and scent will vary from batch to batch.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Unopened, our products have a two year shelf life from the date of manufacture. Once opened and if stored properly, our products period after opening is up to one year. Since our products are clean, they must be stored in a cool, dry place and kept out of direct sunlight. Caps must be tightly secured after every use to prevent oxidizing.

Are your products vegan and cruelty free?

Yes, we are Leaping Bunny Certified. All products except Volcanic Sea Clay Detox Masque are vegan and all MARA products are cruelty-free.  

Do you have a list of no no ingredients?

We avoid all ingredients that cause ecotoxicity by bioaccumulating in our oceans, marine life and food chains, ultimately harming our waters and our wildlife. We believe in Blue Beauty – safe for you and safe for our planet. 

How soon can I expect my order?

For our complimentary ground shipping and USPS First Class orders in continental US, please allow up to one week for your order to ship from our warehouse and another week for your order to arrive. Please note shipping subject to delays due to COVID-19 that are out of our control.

For International Orders: Please allow up to four weeks for your order to arrive after shipping. Usually it will arrive sooner, but customs departments do have the right to hold items and there is not much we can do about this. Also, we do not pay for anything to be released from customs to you.

Are your products made in the U.S.?

Yes, all of our products are made in Los Angeles from globally sourced ingredients.

Shipping / Orders

US Shipping

Items ordered and paid for will ship out from our warehouse within 2–5 business days, unless otherwise noted in description of product. Complementary shipping on eligible orders will be sent USPS. Additional shipping carriers are available depending on zip code at checkout.

Shipping costs incurred by customer are not eligible for returns.

You will receive an email notification from us that contains tracking information once your order has been shipped.

International Shipping

If Customs charges occur please note that the buyer (you) is 100% responsible for the fees. MARA is not responsible for customs charges. Please note that International orders can take up to 4 weeks to arrive after they are shipped since all orders must pass through customs.

Order and Shipping Issues

If you have any problems with your order, please contact us so that we can make it right orders@themarabeauty.com. We want to make sure you’re happy and will try our hardest to resolve any issues.

MARA is not responsible for shipments shown as “delivered” in the tracking info. However, we will do our best to help you locate your package. If your building is not secure, we suggest requesting a required signature for delivery. Please contact our Support team to arrange as we do not include this cost or service with shipping.

Samples and Insert Cards

These are first come first serve on orders that meet the value threshold. We do not guarantee samples or insert cards for every order. We do not offer free samples without purchase of product.

Modify or Cancel Subscription

Please reach out to orders@themarabeauty.com immediately if you would like to edit your order.

Subscriptions are set for a minimum of two deliveries before you are able to cancel. After your second shipment, you may cancel at any time.

Payment

We offer secure online ordering and accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

Refunds / Exchanges

MARA will gladly accept returns on unopened / unused orders placed within 30 days (no exceptions) Please email orders@themarabeauty.com to coordinate. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to return unopened items.

All items purchased with a promo code or in a skincare set are final sale, no exceptions.

Dietary supplements and select MARA merch are final sale.

If a product arrives broken or damaged, we are happy to send a replacement. However a photograph as proof of the damage/defect is required.

Your satisfaction is our top priority and we will do what we can to ensure your happiness with every purchase. Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@themarabeauty.com at anytime if you are unhappy with your order.

For international orders, if your package is unclaimed or returned back to us, we may refund the amount of the products but the shipping cost will not be refunded. If item is lost during transit or undelieverable, MARA will refund the amount of the product, minus the cost of shipping.

MARA is not responsible for any additional shipping costs for returns + exchanges, and we do not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to MARA.
